I know you have probably seen TULA skincare everywhere. If not, then I am not sure where you are hiding. It seems to be in everyone’s skin care routine, must-have item list, and raved all over Instagram! If you aren’t familiar with TULA, it’s a skincare line formulated with probiotics. They are 100% free from phthalates, parabens, propylene glycol, petrolatum, gluten, and mineral oil. They are also cruelty free!
I decided to try it out TULA this past year and see if it was worth the hype! Over the past ten years, I have tried so many skincare brands and I have my favourites. Everyone’s skin is so different in so many ways, that I did have my hesitations on using TULA that seemed to work for every single person I followed on Instagram (pretty much!)
I will start off saying that I have had pretty decent skin over my lifetime. I only have the odd hormonal breakout, I have dry to normal skin, and I don’t have any major skin issues or complications.
Skincare is something I definitely think is worth the splurge but affordable skincare that actually does wonders for your skin – I am in! I wanted to try a few range of products that I would normally have in my day to day skincare regimen, so I started with Tula’s Discovery Kit. The kit contained the following products:
This has to be my favourite cleanser I have ever tried. It does a wonderful job of truly cleansing my skin, without over drying it.
Compared to most toners, this one does not dry out my skin. It makes my skin look balanced and bright and one of my favourite products to look forward to in my routine.
Putting this on, is like the cherry on the cake. It helps my skin feel hydrated and brighten any darker areas.
Moisturizer: 24-7 Moisture Hydrating Day & Night Cream
I have tried so many moisturizers for my dry skin. This stuff is incredible. Its not too oily and I really feel like my skin is hydrated and not feeling tight. I can wear this under my foundation too and it’s not too thick.
(Bonus! Limited edition TULA travel bag)
For only $52 dollars, this was a steal of a deal. Especially since it gave me enough product to actually use for a long period of time to ensure it was given the time it needed to show results. I was not disappointed. If you are not sure what to start off with, TULA has quizzes and starter kits to find the right products for you!
DISCLAIMER: TULA no longer offers shipping to Canada, but since a majority of my readers/ followers are in the United States, I decided to share my experience to help those looking. Hopefully TULA will bring shipping back to Canada for us to enjoy!
UPDATE: Tula is now available at Sephora! My fellow Canadians can now order online or in store!
Final Thoughts: I was very skeptical about using a product that so many people seemed to enjoy, I thought it was too good to be true but TULA is totally worth the hype!
Have you tried TULA? If so, what are your favourite products by them?
